Summer check-up for the hottest weeks.
A midsummer visit to adjust heads, clear clogs, correct coverage and retune schedules when the lawn needs water most.
- Timing: June to August
- Steps: Run zones, clean and adjust heads, retune schedule
- Parts: Nozzles and heads on the truck

What it is, and why it matters.
By midsummer, nozzles clog with grit, heads tilt, plants grow into spray and watering needs change. A tune-up runs every zone, straightens and cleans heads, trims obstructions, replaces worn nozzles and adjusts run times for the heat. It is the best moment to catch the dry stripe that appears each July.
In Nashville's summers, a lawn can go from fine to scorched in two weeks of heat. We use the visit to check pressure, reprogram the controller for peak season and make sure beds and trees are still getting enough water.

Mid-Season Tune-Ups: common questions
Why do I have dry spots in summer?
Common causes are clogged or tilted heads, blocked spray, low pressure or run times that are too short for the heat. A tune-up finds which.
How often should I have a tune-up?
Once a year in midsummer works for many systems, and our maintenance plans include it.
How do I get a price for mid-season tune-ups?
Fill in the form or call 615-431-3789. We schedule a free visit, measure and test your system or yard and send a written proposal that lists exactly what is included.
Ready to talk about mid-season tune-ups?
A free visit and a written proposal. A real person calls back, usually the same day.
